Full Job Description
Join our Asset Based Lending team as an SVP -Relationship Manager responsible for managing a complex portfolio of commercial lending relationships while leading the documentation and closing of asset-based loan transactions. In this highly visible client-facing role, you will drive portfolio growth, deepen client relationships, support risk management objectives, and collaborate with partners across the bank to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage a portfolio of complex asset-based lending relationships while ensuring strong client retention and relationship growth.
  • Lead the closing of approved lending opportunities, including negotiating loan documentation and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor portfolio performance by analyzing financial statements, evaluating covenant compliance, and calculating key financial metrics.
  • Recommend account strategies and risk mitigation solutions based on changes in client performance, industry conditions, and credit quality.
  • Ensure portfolio administration and risk management activities align with established credit policies, business objectives, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with colleagues across the organization to identify opportunities and connect clients with appropriate banking, treasury, wealth management, and capital markets solutions.
  • Support the lending approval process through participation in credit and lender discussions and meetings.
  • Build and maintain professional networks through industry events, community involvement, and relationship-building activities.


Education & Experience

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in commercial banking or business-to-business sales.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial banking products and services, including non-borrowing solutions.
  • Proven success in business development, sales, and client relationship management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive, if applicable.


Preferred
  • Experience negotiating lending documentation and managing loan closings.
  • Experience with underwriting, credit analysis, and asset-based lending relationship management.
  • Experience building and managing complex commercial client relationships.
