Job Duties & Responsibilities- Develop innovative assembly process concepts, layouts, and cycle time analyses.
- Utilize Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to create tooling concepts and manufacturing layouts.
- Lead development of technical and commercial proposals in response to RFQs, RFIs, and engineering changes.
- Analyze customer specifications and determine optimal manufacturing solutions.
- Create project scopes, conceptual designs, cost estimates, and commercial proposals.
- Participate in customer meetings, RFQ reviews, and technical presentations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Controls, Sales, and Project Management teams.
- Evaluate production risks and develop creative technical solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and business development activities.
Education & Experience- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline OR 5+ years of engineering/proposal experience.
- 3+ years of proposal engineering, estimating, manufacturing, or automation engineering experience.
- Experience developing technical proposals and customer-facing presentations.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, assembly systems, robotics, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
