Sr. Material Reliability Lead Role reports to: Sr. Manager, RR&Skin Health Reliability Location: North America, United States, New Jersey, Summit Work Location: Hybrid What you will do The Sr. Material Reliability Lead supports regional Kenvue manufacturing across both internal sites and directed-spend external supply points. The Sr. Material Reliability Lead interfaces with internal and external business partners and suppliers to improve customer fulfillment and supplier delivery performance and responsiveness, abiding by the spirit of the Kenvue Values. The Sr. Material Reliability Lead leverages processes, systems, and reporting capabilities that improve the efficiency of material supply services, using technology and monitoring metrics necessary to achieve targeted performance goals. The Senior Material Reliability Lead responsibilities will be: Owning the operational resolution of emerging supply issues across the MSM (Material Supply Management) network. Identifying problematic suppliers and works jointly with Strategic Sourcing, Quality, Make and MSM peers to correct or exit if needed. Leading discussions with key functional partners – Raw Material Center (RMC), Package Material Center (PMC), Quality, EM Make, R&D, etc. – to drive resolution of out-of-specification materials, discontinued materials, and material feed stock changes. Driving or supporting improvements in material reliability, customer fulfillment, supplier delivery performance, and responsiveness. Identifying and developing key process improvements for key Internal and External manufacturing sites regarding communication process on disruptions. Required Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required, a focused degree in Business, Engineering, Science, Technical or related is preferred. A minimum of four (4) - six (6) years of related experience in Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or similar operations is required. Must demonstrate the ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence multiple levels within an organization. This position may require travel up to 10% of the time. Clear and concise written communication skills. Experience tracking numerous initiatives and investigations at the same time. Strong stakeholder management skills. Experience working with suppliers and manufacturing partners. Strong analytical, investigation, and risk management skills. Preferred Qualifications Other related professional certifications (e.g., APICS, ISM, Process Excellence/Six Sigma) are desirable. Demonstrated negotiating and pre-negotiation planning experience is preferred. An understanding of manufacturing operations and plants is preferred. Experience with MRP systems, such as SAP, is highly desired. Strong project management skills are a plus. Insight into End-to-End supply chain characteristics and understanding of financial processes such as business case development, P&L calculation and COGS is preferred.
