Area Sales Manager - Seattle, WA Region

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for increasing sales and customer satisfaction, supporting private practice orthodontists within the Northwest U.S. region. This requires an ability to build relationships with customers, proactively identify the solutions they need, and think commercially.

Some Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable sales growth and maximize sales revenue within a defined area by developing, maintaining, and advancing existing accounts and prospects.
  • Create an unparalleled customer experience by acting as a strategic business partner focusing on customers' growth goals.
  • Achieve new business targets by proactively identifying, targeting and converting prospect accounts and new business with private practice orthodontists in Northwest U.S.
  • Prepare and maintain territory business plans, sales forecasts and a sales promotion activity budget. Assess current performance and forecast when change is necessary.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Market Communications to support the execution of all marketing launch plans and new product sales objectives.
  • Attend and represent Angel Aligner North America at customer events as required.
  • Keep abreast of key clinical studies and scientific papers supporting Angel Aligner product benefits.


Travel Requirements: Frequent travel (including overnight travel) is required for customer visits and key industry and corporate events. Travel frequency varies depending upon the specific territory.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of plus 5+ years of sales experience in high growth corporate markets.
  • Prior aligner sales experience with Orthodontists as the principal point of contact.
  • Proficiency in consultative selling with knowledge of the Challenger technique or related method preferred.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate are desired.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills, are required.
  • Capable of working both collaboratively with team members within the region as well as independently.
  • Maintains integrity, high ethics and professional codes of conduct at all times.
  • Able to deliver highly complex information in a clear, structured and compelling manner.
  • General computer efficiency including ability to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and maintain auto insurance coverage.


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This is a remote-based role in the Seattle, WA Region with regular travel throughout the states.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods in a car and other forms of transportation.
  • Constant communication with others by phone, email or virtual meetings.
