Job SummaryThe Area Sales Manager is a key leader responsible for driving the sales and promotion of Siplast's premium building enclosure solutions within an assigned territory. This portfolio includes advanced wall control, green and amenity roofing, and liquid solutions.
Essential Duties- Consultative Sales and Networking: This highly consultative role requires engaging with and influencing a diverse network of critical decision-makers in the commercial construction sector, including owner/developers, construction and enclosure consultants, architects, specifiers, distributors, and installing contractors.
- Technical and Strategic Guidance: Provide significant technical advice and strategic guidance throughout the design, specification, and installation processes.
- Business Development: Key accountabilities include identifying major project opportunities, generating and disseminating qualified leads, and expanding the professional customer network.
- Sales Enablement: Drive sales growth by delivering professional learning units (AIA/CEU) and conducting product demonstrations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate to define strategies supporting the growth of individual business segments, which involves both product support and new product development initiatives.
- Administration and Strategy Deployment: Manage all general administration within the territory and ensure the consistent deployment of the overall business strategy across all functional areas.
Qualifications Required- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field Preferred
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in commercial building materials
- 5+ years of management experience in a related field or industry, such as roofing, building, or construction
- 60% to 80% Travel Required

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.
Annual Compensation Range: $100,000 to $200,000. The Annual Compensation Range listed includes both base salary and an estimated annualized flat commission amount based on recent territory performance.
