APRN - Mobile Health Program

Department: MHCS Department

General Tasks

  • Primary Care Services: Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and provide routine primary care to improve patient health outcomes.


  • Patient Assessments: Take medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.


  • Chronic Disease Management: Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.


  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.


  • Administrative Duties: Include but not limited to assisting with opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a clean environment.


  • Preventive Care: Administer vaccinations, conduct health screenings, and educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyles.


  • Collaboration: Work with other healthcare providers, nurses, and medical assistants to deliver


comprehensive care.

  • Community Outreach: Participate in outreach activities to raise awareness about the mobile clinic's services and engage with the community.


  • Actively participating in leadership-level planning for the best growth opportunities.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:


  • Master's or DNP Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with completion of an accredited APRN program, with current Adult Medicine Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANPCB) Board Certification or equivalent certification.


  • Currently licensed or eligible for Missouri APRN licensure


  • Experience:


  • Clinical experience in women's health services preferred


  • Experience with EHR preferred


  • Performance: Able and willing to provide world-class service to all stakeholders

Work Environment

100% Onsite - APRN is expected to travel with the mobile clinic team to nearby mobile health locations. The main brick-and-mortar location is at 110 S. 2nd St., Ellington, MO 63638

Salary & Benefits

  1. 80 PTO hours available after the first 60 days of service
