JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an Applied AI Engineer / AI Product Builder to join an AI-first enablement team focused on evolving enterprise architecture through automation, lightweight applications, and generative AI. This role involves collaborating directly with users to understand challenges, rapidly prototype solutions leveraging AI coding tools, and deliver practical products that enhance productivity and unlock new capabilities. The position is critical for helping the architecture function adapt governance to the speed and volatility introduced by Generative AI while maintaining audit-safe, principled, and scalable practices. The ideal candidate is excited by ambiguity, enjoys building useful solutions quickly, and views AI as a significant force multiplier.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner directly with Sr. Technologists to understand workflows and identify automation opportunities.
• Rapidly translate emerging GenAI usage, risks, and architectural patterns into governance tooling.
• Build internal tools, dashboards, and applications using AI-assisted development.
• Leverage coding assistants to rapidly prototype and deliver solutions.
• Create reusable workflows, agents, and integrations that enable others to become more productive.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and performance.
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback rather than striving for perfection on day one.
• Mentor and enable non-developers to safely build their own solutions.
Required Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Heavy, responsible use of AI coding assistants
• Experience with LLMs, agents, or AI orchestration frameworks
• Experience building APIs, automations, or web applications
• Very comfortable using AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow
• Ability to debug, review, and improve AI-generated code rather than blindly accepting outputs
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work from loosely defined requirements
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms
• Experience building internal tooling or automation platforms
• Familiarity with SQL, vector databases, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Experience in consulting, solutions engineering, or developer productivity roles
• Solid understanding of Architecture principles, standards, patterns, and guardrails
