Job DescriptionJob Duties
- Lead and technical responsibility for the development of the foundation brake of new and existing programs;
- Responsible to gather customer's vehicle parameters, packaging data and engineering requirements;
- Responsible to evaluate new program technical requirements;
- Responsible to perform brake system analysis;
- Responsible for customer reviews and internal drawing releases;
- Assist with technical presentations and quote submissions;
- Assist with meeting customer program requirement, i.e. APQP, PPAP, etc.;
- Support customer and plant personnel during ramp-up of start of production and during series production throughout the life of the program;
- Support customer engineering problem resolution related to quality and warranty;
- Participate in customer test activities and vehicle builds;
- Participate in problem solving activities;
- Participate in continuous improvement;
- Oversee prototype build and delivery;
- Periodic travel required
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 - 5 years of experience (preferred)
