Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Application/Production Support Engineer with a strong technical background in SQL, Linux, and application support within the investment banking domain.
The role involves providing L1/L2 support, resolving production incidents, and collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth operations of critical financial applications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide L1/L2 support for production and application environments.
- Resolve user inquiries and production incidents, including root cause analysis.
- Perform user access reviews, audit reviews, and identity management (IDM) reviews.
- Coordinate and manage disaster recovery (DR) flips.
- Support and troubleshoot Tidal job failures.
- Document and maintain support knowledge on Confluence.
- Run reports and perform data reviews for audit and business teams.
- Collaborate with vendors to support third-party applications.
Required Qualifications- 10-14 years of experience in application support.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Linux commands.
- Experience with ETL processes and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with settlement, collateral, regulatory reporting (FI/EQ), and derivatives products.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple ongoing issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience supporting Broadridge applications (Impact, Cognos, BPS, Message Automation), Murex, Smartloan, Loanet, or Global One.
- Experience working in a Market Operations Support group.
Education: Bachelors Degree
