Job Summary
The Application Management Senior Analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting Java-based applications, components, and frameworks. The role will lead the design and architecture of Java solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, optimize application performance, and ensure seamless integration across project components. The analyst will also provide technical guidance to junior developers, participate in code reviews, maintain software documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of application development practices. This is a fully onsite position requiring the candidate to work from the office 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and implement Java-based components, applications, and frameworks.
• Lead the design and architecture of Java-based solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and system administrators to ensure proper integration of project components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Java applications.
• Develop and maintain software documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
• Stay current with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and development trends.
• Analyze and optimize existing code to improve application performance.
• Analyze existing code and implement required enhancements and changes.
• Participate in code reviews and recommend improvements to code quality and development practices.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications using Core Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and J2EE technologies, including strong knowledge of Java 8 and above.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java Collections and multithreading concepts.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience building and implementing Java-based Web Services, primarily using REST.
• 5+ years of experience with open-source tools and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Spring JPA.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with build and development tools such as Gradle and Maven.
• Experience working with Git projects and source control.
• 5+ years of experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Good understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience building scalable and distributed microservices.
• Ability to provide technical mentoring and guidance to development teams.
