Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Appian Business Analyst to work closely with business stakeholders and Appian development teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for workflow automation and BPM solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis skills combined with Appian platform knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Appian applications.
Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement discovery sessions.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
Collaborate with Appian architects and developers to define optimal solutions.
Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and business process documentation.
Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing.
Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvement opportunities.
Support application demos, training sessions, and production rollouts.
Assist in defining KPIs, reporting requirements, and process metrics.
Coordinate between business users, project managers, QA teams, and developers.
Ensure solutions align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
Support change management and adoption activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
7+ years of Business Analysis experience.
3+ years of experience working on Appian BPM projects.
Strong understanding of:

Experience creating:

Process Flows
Knowledge of Appian platform capabilities and components.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience supporting UAT and production deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
Appian Analyst Certification or Appian Associate Developer Certification.
Banking/Financial Services experience.
Experience with Appian Records, SAIL interfaces, and process models.
Familiarity with REST APIs and system integrations.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile project management tools.
