Appian Application Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise business applications. This role is ideal for a developer with experience in
Appian, BPM, or full-stack web development who enjoys building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications from the user interface through to backend integrations and databases.
Working closely with business and technical teams, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions while contributing to the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using the Appian platform.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces, business process workflows, integrations, and backend components.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate applications with enterprise systems.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Troubleshoot, debug, enhance, and support existing applications.
- Participate in code reviews, QA testing, defect resolution, and production support.
- Maintain technical documentation for applications, processes, and system changes.
- Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and data protection standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of experience developing applications using Appian, BPM platforms, or full-stack web technologies.
- Strong front-end development skills using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks.
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Strong SQL development skills, including writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- 3+ years of experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications- Hands-on experience with Appian SAIL, Records, Integrations, and Web APIs.
- Experience with Python and Flask.
- Experience working with Kubernetes.
- Professional experience within Investment Banking or Financial Services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Pay TransparencyWhere required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $62,424 -$130,050. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
