Job Summary We are seeking a Senior API Developer who will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation within our organization. This position goes beyond coding; it involves building the essential connections that enable seamless communication between applications, platforms, and services. The Senior API Developer will ensure that APIs are designed with scalability, reliability, and security as top priorities, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, and product teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Responsibilities - Partner with architects and product managers to design APIs that align with business strategy.
- Collaborate with architects and product teams to ensure APIs meet business goals.
- Develop, test, and deploy APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Define and enforce API standards, versioning, and documentation practices.
- Integrate APIs with internal systems, external vendors, and cloud-native services.
- Monitor API performance and proactively optimize for speed and resilience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across environments.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct peer code reviews, promoting best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by adopting modern API frameworks and tools.
- Continuously evaluate emerging API technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.

Preferred Skills - Experience with microservices architecture
