Job Description
The Antitrust Practice Group Paralegal plays a vital role in supporting attorneys on global M&A transactions and antitrust litigation matters. This position facilitates the global merger review process for large M&A transactions by partnering with U.S. and international legal teams, maintaining client information and databases, preparing antitrust/regulatory filings, and assisting with regulatory requests or legal proceedings.
Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions:
  • Organize, update, and maintain client records relating to revenues, assets, subsidiaries/holdings, past transactions, and other corporate/financial information in an accessible manner.
  • Collaborate daily with U.S. and international antitrust lawyers to provide relevant client information and data.
  • Assist in preparing, proofing, and compiling exhibits and submissions for U.S. HSR and global antitrust/merger control filings to obtain regulatory clearance for global M&A transactions.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure client records and related data are up-to-date and organized.
  • Review emails across multiple matters and proactively determine relevant follow up actions.
  • Participate in internal calls/meetings and document key discussion points and action items.
  • Leverage current technologies, resources, methods and procedures to perform assigned work, including AI tools where appropriate.
  • Support cross-departmental teams involved in U.S. and global filings.
  • Perform other task as assigned by management.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • 3+ years of paralegal experience.
  • Prior experience coordinating HSR filing submissions preferred.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who will be readily available to provide assistance as needed.
  • Ability to multi-task across a number of different matters and requests occurring in parallel.
  • Manages and synthesizes a large volume of corporate/financial data and information.
  • Analyzes problems, develops effective solutions and understands implications of proposed solutions. Makes appropriate and timely decisions.
  • Proficiency/advanced ability with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe, SharePoint, OneNote, Pacer Pro, iManage, Zoom, MS Teams and Relativity, and interest in developing knowledge of artificial intelligence tools.
  • Produces high quality work; is efficient, accurate and has good attention to detail; consistently strives to improve performance; seeks opportunities to develop professionally and expand job knowledge. Displays high level of personal integrity.
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively via written / verbal communications.
  • Works effectively with co-workers as part of the team to accomplish tasks. Flexible and open-minded, willing to share and exchange ideas/suggestions.
  • Ability to work overtime.


Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with strong academic record.


Estimated hourly rate is $43.95- $52.19 ($80,000- $95,000 annually). This position is overtime and bonus eligible. Compensation decisions within the range are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
