Responsibilities

  • Participate in TAVRs, EP ablations, and structural heart procedures
  • Conduct Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) for various cardiac cases
  • Support the team on non-cardiac cases as workload demands

Job Title: Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Location: York, PA

Employment Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)

What You'll Champion:

York Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment within a medical direction model, with a mix of personally performed cases and supervision.

Provide anesthesia care for advanced cardiac procedures, including:
  • Open Heart surgery - CABG and Valves
  • Aortic surgeries
  • Mechanical Cardiopulmonary support systems - Ventricular assist device, Impella device
  • Cardiac Cath Lab interventions
  • TAVRs
  • EP ablations and EP studies
  • Mitral clippings
  • Watchman procedures
  • Catheter based mitral and tricuspid valve replacement
  • Perform and interpret TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) for open heart cases and occasional TEE guidance for structural heart procedures
  • TEE Certification preferred
  • Adult Cardiac Anesthesia Certification optional
  • Participate in non-cardiac cases as needed
