Full Job Description
We are seeking a senior analyst to lead the development of a new analytic capability producing tactical threat analysis in support of physical security and risk management. The Analytic Lead will guide SAR exploitation efforts and integrate internal and external reporting into actionable threat assessments. This position is dependent on being fully funded by the government.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding of new analysts and document roles and responsibilities.
  • Assess existing systems and frameworks (e.g., Force Protection Conditions) and their applicability to varying threat scenarios.
  • Collaborate with physical security experts to develop DOE-specific and site-specific response options.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with peer organizations across government.
  • Develop processes and templates for periodic SAR summary and threat assessment products.


Long-Term Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain a suite of threat awareness products for DOE and site leadership.
  • Establish mechanisms for communicating recommended protective measures during heightened threat conditions.
  • Design and conduct tabletop exercises to validate analytic and response processes.
  • Draft analytic products for leadership and client review.
  • Integrate new information into risk-based models to assess adversary capabilities and intent.


Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Active DOE Q or DOD TS clearance required
  • Demonstrated experience establishing new analytic efforts
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills
  • Ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments


Location: This is a full-time onsite position in Washington, DC 20024, USA. This position is dependent on being fully funded by the government.
