Skill: QA Automation Lead (Python & API Testing)
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
• Strong experience in QA Automation Testing with at least 10 years of overall testing experience.
• Hands-on experience in Python Automation Framework Development.
• Strong expertise in API Testing using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Postman, and automation tools.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of API validation, data verification, and backend testing.
• Experience with SQL and database validations.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong understanding of Banking and Financial Services applications.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks using Python.
• Define and maintain API automation test strategies for banking applications.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements and define test coverage.
• Review test cases and automation scripts developed by team members.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive defect resolution with development teams.
• Ensure test automation is integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Create automation metrics, dashboards, and status reports for stakeholders.
• Mentor QA team members and establish testing best practices.
• Support release validation and production readiness activities.
• Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Salary Range - $100,000-$115,000 a year
