In this position...

At Ford, protecting production is a real-time enterprise priority. As an Analyst, Supply Operations, you will identify, prioritize, and resolve operational risks before they impact manufacturing. This high-visibility role manages a caseload of operationally and financially distressed production suppliers, develops risk mitigation strategies, and drives corrective actions to protect Ford's Vehicle and Powertrain production.

What you'll do...

You will work cross-functionally with suppliers and Ford teams to strengthen supply signals, resolve capacity constraints, and support production objectives. The role provides broad organizational exposure and the opportunity to help shape Ford's transition toward a more proactive, data-driven, and AI-enabled Supply Operations Control Tower.

* Assess complex operational issues, prioritize risks, and develop solutions to minimize vehicle production losses.

* Manage a caseload of operationally and financially distressed production suppliers, driving issues to resolution.

* Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to protect Ford's Vehicle Assembly and Powertrain production.

* Resolve complex supplier capacity constraints to prevent plant disruptions and associated premium transportation.

* Execute interim and permanent corrective actions with suppliers to ensure robust supply signals and alignment with Ford production objectives.

* Analyze supplier schedules, production impacts, and performance metrics to identify risks and support resolution plans.

* Lead cross-functional problem-solving activities and facilitate deployment of onsite Ford resources when supplier risk warrants additional support.

* Summarize complex issues, recommendations, and resolutions and effectively communicate business impacts to leadership.

* Leverage data, analytics, AI, and digital tools to improve risk identification, decision-making, reporting, and operational efficiency.

You'll Have...

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering (or other Engineering), Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.

* 3+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, supply operations, logistics, production control, supplier operations, or related environments.

* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production throughput, supplier operations, and program management.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable decisions and drive issues to resolution.

* Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate operational risks, influence without authority, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues, recommendations, and business impacts effectively to Senior Leadership.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, with experience using data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

* Demonstrated ability to leverage emerging technologies, including AI, automation, and analytics, to improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and business performance.

* 5+ years of experience applying AI, predictive analytics, automation, or other digital technologies to manufacturing or operational challenges.

* Experience leading digital transformation, operational excellence, or continuous improvement initiatives.

* Experience implementing automated reporting, analytics, or decision-support tools and driving adoption of new technologies and processes.

* Ford systems knowledge, including PUB, CMMS, WERS, and SIM.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900., This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
