Role Purpose

The Senior Specialist, Integrated Planning plays a critical role in aligning finished goods production, material availability, and distribution requirements with customer needs and inventory goals. In this role, you will develop and maintain operationally and financially optimized production and material plans that deliver service and inventory targets while supporting efficient, reliable site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)-level production plans across a 13-week rolling horizon, balancing customer demand, inventory levels, material availability, and capacity constraints; identify and resolve capacity gaps and integrate new product introductions as needed
  • Monitor and report on key planning input metrics - including Master Production Schedule (MPS), material availability rate, backorder risk, and capacity utilization - as well as output metrics such as On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery and inventory levels
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for recurring planning issues; maintain accurate production planning parameters (lot sizes, yields, safety stock) and production master data
  • Leverage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and scenario analysis tools to build optimal schedules; support automation and digitalization efforts in alignment with Corning's integrated planning standards
  • Support the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process by integrating near- and mid-term plans with strategic planning; collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, procurement, customer service, and finance teams on scheduling assumptions and performance


Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in production, logistics, or material planning within a manufacturing or supply chain environment
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and planning tools
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret supply chain data and generate planning reports


Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Experience with scenario analysis and capacity management features within planning systems
  • Familiarity with SIOP or Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
  • Experience identifying and driving process improvements within a supply chain or manufacturing environment

The range for this position is $71,930.00 - $98,904.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
