Full Job Description

As an Analyst, Operations Finance, you will support Holt Renfrew's eCommerce and omnichannel business through financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Working closely with leaders across Digital, Operations, and Finance, you will help translate financial results into meaningful business insights while developing a strong understanding of the operational drivers behind the business.

This role combines strong FP&A fundamentals with meaningful exposure to business partnering and operational decision support. The successful candidate will become a trusted finance partner to their business areas, helping drive informed decisions through financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and business performance management.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support monthly close activities, including accruals, variance analysis, reporting, and detailed commentary on financial results.

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for various operating expenses, incorporating business drivers, historical trends, and operational plans.

  • Develop and maintain financial models, outlooks, and performance reporting tools to support decision-making and monitor key business metrics and KPIs.

  • Investigate financial and operational performance trends, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.

  • Build strong working relationships with eCommerce, Operations and Finance stakeholders, providing insights to support business objectives.

  • Partner with business leaders to understand operational drivers and connect business activities to financial outcomes.

  • Assist with ROI assessments, post-investment reviews, operational optimizations, and other business case analyses.

  • Contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and ad hoc analysis as required.

What You Bring: 

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related role.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets, financial models, and forecasting tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and an interest in understanding the operational drivers behind business performance.

  • Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and work through complex problems.

  • Experience with SAP, IBM Cognos, Fabric, Power BI, or similar systems is considered an asset.

  • Interest in retail, eCommerce, omnichannel operations, or luxury retail is considered an asset.

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :

$72,566.66 - $88,900.00 / 72.566,66$ - 88.900,00$ (per year / par an)

Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the candidate's unique skills, expertise, individual qualifications, and assessed contributions to the role following the completion of the interview process.
