This Analyst role supports Relationship Managers covering Technology and Innovation Banking clients headquartered outside the US, helping build new-to-bank growth while delivering strong day-to-day execution and service. You'll be close to clients and to internal product specialists across borders, helping create a consistent one-HSBC experience. The role includes supporting onboarding, service delivery and disciplined risk and control activity aligned to Global Standards. Success means producing clear, timely analysis and materials that make Relationship Managers more effective and keeping onboarding and service issues progressing to closure with minimal rework. Over time the role offers a development path towards Junior Relationship Manager readiness based on performance and readiness.

What you'll be doing
  • Support Relationship Managers to optimize client relationships through proactive engagement and needs-based support
  • Attend client meetings, prepare agendas and materials, capture follow-ups and track actions through to completion
  • Act as a point of contact for day-to-day client queries, resolving issues quickly and escalating appropriately
  • Maintain internal coordination across borders and product lines so clients experience one HSBC
  • Support the preparation of credit applications, annual reviews and ongoing monitoring materials to support portfolio management
  • Draft and maintain account commentary, meeting notes, call reports and client plans in a clear decision-useful way
  • Coordinate onboarding and account maintenance activity with internal teams to deliver smooth end-to-end execution
  • Triage service issues across cash management and day-to-day banking, coordinating with specialist teams as needed
  • Own service issues end-to-end by progressing actions, identifying root causes and improving processes to prevent repeat issues
  • Identify product and solution opportunities through client research, transaction analysis and ongoing dialogue with stakeholders

What we're looking for
  • Bring relevant experience from banking, credit, finance, consulting, fintech or other analytical and client-facing roles, or be a recent graduate with demonstrable capability
  • Demonstrate strong analytical capability, including interpreting policies and procedures and summarizing insights clearly
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with strong organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with a range of stakeholders across teams and geographies
  • Apply feedback quickly and translate new concepts into practical actions in day-to-day delivery
  • Support client onboarding, service execution and issue resolution with accurate tracking and follow-through
  • Work within risk and control expectations, including documentation, record keeping and timely escalation aligned to Global Standards
  • Operate effectively across time zones and with international stakeholders where required

Building Junior RM readiness

If you want a role where client work, execution discipline and risk fundamentals all matter this is a strong platform. You'll work closely with Relationship Managers and partner teams across HSBC's global network to support internationally active Technology and Innovation clients. You will be empowered to drive HSBC's engagement with the communities we serve through an industry-leading volunteerism policy, a generous matching gift program, and a comprehensive program of immersive Sustainability and Climate Change Initiatives. You'll want to join our Employee Resource Groups as they play a central part in life at HSBC, including the development of our employees and networking inside and outside of HSBC. We value difference. We succeed together. We take responsibility. We get it done. And we want you to help us build the bank of the future!
