Position SummaryThis role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and the product team, owning the "what" and "why" of what we build. You will lead requirements discovery across business, clinical, and operations partners - surfacing needs, reducing ambiguity, and converting messy stakeholder input into clean, validated requirements that the Technical Product Manager and engineering team can build against with confidence. Success in this role means engineering rarely has to guess: business rules are explicit, data definitions are agreed, and decisions are documented before a story enters a sprint.
Required Qualifications- Proven experience running stakeholder discovery sessions with business, clinical, and/or operations teams to surface requirements, constraints, and dependencies
- Demonstrated ability to author clear, unambiguous requirements artifacts - business rules, data definitions, workflow diagrams, and decision matrices
- Strong instinct for identifying ambiguity, contradictions, and unstated assumptions; willingness to push stakeholders to make and document decisions
- Experience documenting conditional logic, decision trees, and data validation criteria for business processes
- Working familiarity with data concepts - sources, schemas, field-level mappings - and the ability to partner with data teams to define what fields mean and where they originate
- Hands-on experience with Jira: structuring epics and stories, maintaining requirement-to-story traceability, and ensuring continuity between discovery and delivery
Preferred Qualifications- Healthcare domain experience, including any of: clinical coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCC), claims data, payer/provider operations, or risk adjustment
- Prior experience working alongside a Technical Product Manager or in a paired BA/TPM model
- Exposure to data modeling, ETL, or analytics workflows sufficient to converse credibly with data engineers
- Experience with diagramming and documentation tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Miro, Confluence) for workflow and decision documentation
EducationBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
