Are you ready to deepen corporate client relationships across FX and rates?

The Opportunity

Corporate Sales sits within HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and serves corporate clients with client-relevant products solutions and market insight. This role focuses on Strategic and Focus client portfolios with accountability for revenue growth profitability and service quality. You'll partner closely with trading teams and product specialists to take transactions from order through execution and into the post-trade process. You'll help clients access the full Corporate Sales offering including foreign exchange instruments and interest rate derivatives. Success means stronger client outcomes deeper product penetration and improved wallet share delivered with a robust control mindset. You'll also improve efficiency by migrating appropriate transactional activity to self-service e-capabilities as platforms evolve.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage a portfolio of Strategic and Focus clients to grow revenue profitability and service quality
  • Originate sales opportunities from initial client need through point of sale and post-trade delivery
  • Execute day-to-day sales coverage across the Corporate Sales offering including FX and interest rate derivatives
  • Partner with relevant trading teams to manage transaction flow from order through to execution
  • Develop trusted client relationships and translate market insight into relevant ideas and solutions
  • Coordinate with Relationship Managers GPS and GTS to meet client needs and improve share of wallet
  • Champion adoption of e-capability and offshore support to improve cost of service for transactional activity
  • Maintain complete records and required client documentation including suitability reviews and disclaimers where applicable


What we're looking for
  • Bring substantial experience serving corporate clients within Corporate Sales or a closely related markets sales environment
  • Apply strong product knowledge across foreign exchange instruments including Spot Options Swaps Forwards and Futures and interest rate derivatives
  • Demonstrate a track record of managing client portfolios with accountability for revenue profitability and relationship outcomes
  • Execute end-to-end transaction management in partnership with trading teams including order execution and post-trade coordination
  • Originate cross-sell opportunities across asset classes and across CIB including cross-border opportunities where relevant
  • Partner effectively with Relationship Managers GPS GTS CRS and other stakeholders to deliver joined-up client coverage
  • Manage process change as technology platforms evolve while protecting service quality controls and client outcomes
  • Hold relevant regulatory exams and qualifications for non-advisory sales and trading activities or bring equivalent regulated-market authorization and demonstrable experience
