Full Job Description
Investor Relations Analyst / Associate (Institutional & Private Wealth)

New York, NY

About the Position

The Investor Relations Analyst / Associate will support senior Relationship Managers and the Institutional Sales team by coordinating due diligence processes, preparing and customizing investor reporting, tracking pipeline activity, and ensuring timely follow-up from investor meetings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-service driven, comfortable in a fast-paced alternatives/asset management environment, and FINRA-licensed (or able to become licensed quickly). Experience in Investor Relations at a leading alternatives platform is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Relationship Manager Support (Core)
  • Support Relationship Managers across the full investor lifecycle: outreach, diligence, onboarding, and ongoing servicing.
  • Own meeting logistics and follow-up: agendas, notes, action items, and timely investor communications.
  • Maintain high-touch coverage of client and prospect requests, ensuring responsiveness and accuracy.

Due Diligence & Investor Requests
  • Coordinate due diligence materials (DDQs/RFPs, data requests, performance/portfolio content, operational/legal follow-ups) in partnership with internal teams.
  • Manage Q&A processes and track responses to ensure completeness and adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain an organized diligence library and version control for investor-facing materials.

Reporting, Analytics & Customization
  • Customize investor reporting and client-ready materials (e.g., performance summaries, portfolio/product updates, exposure metrics, attribution narratives).
  • Build and maintain recurring reporting and tracking packages for Relationship Managers and Sales leadership.
  • Create clean, executive-ready dashboards and trackers (Excel/PowerPoint/CRM) that summarize pipeline, outreach activity, meeting outcomes, and next steps.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to enhance reporting workflows, summarize investor activity, and improve accuracy and efficiency across recurring deliverables.

Pipeline Tracking & Client Lead Coverage
  • Track and "cover" client leads by ensuring they are logged correctly, assigned, and progressed through the funnel.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data hygiene: contact updates, meeting notes, opportunity stages, and activity tracking.
  • Monitor follow-ups and deadlines; proactively surface stale opportunities, open diligence items, and bottlenecks.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI and workflow automation to streamline CRM updates, diligence tracking, and internal sales support processes.

Institutional Sales Support
  • Provide day-to-day sales support to the Institutional team: materials preparation, follow-ups, coordination of internal resources, and execution support for campaigns/roadshows.
  • Assist with prospecting support (where applicable): list management, segmentation, and outreach coordination.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Institutional Sales Support, Client Service, or Alternatives distribution-manager / private credit / PE / real assets platform.
  • Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Economics, or related preferred).
  • FINRA licenses required (e.g., Series 7 and Series 63); or ability to obtain quickly (state your firm's requirement here).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; polished client-facing judgment.
  • Familiarity with alternative investments and institutional diligence processes (DDQs/RFPs, performance reporting, fund materials) strongly preferred.
The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $125,000 and $150,000

The base salary range proposed for this role has been set forth to comply with local law, but salary is only one element of the total compensation for this role. The base salary range suggested above does not include compensation elements such as bonuses, overtime and deferred cash (each of which are applicable in certain roles), benefits, perquisites, and company contributions to employee 401(k) accounts. Such other pay components often result in total compensation materially exceeding base salary for a particular role.
