The Analyst will also be responsible for supporting transactions and projects including investment and syndication materials, comp sets and market data, pitch materials and investor requests and presentations.

As a critical member of a small syndication team, the Analyst will execute all aspects of the syndication process for investment grade debt (including 4(a)(2) and 144A private placements), sub-investment grade debt, preferred / structured equity and other hybrid instruments across a variety of industries. Responsibilities will include:

  • Producing polished, client-ready PowerPoint materials – including syndication launch decks, lender presentations, IC memos and investor updates – to Apollo brand standards under tight turnarounds
  • Supporting the syndication execution across investments for both financial sponsors and corporate / non-sponsor transactions
  • Supporting senior-level syndication professionals in determining, recommending and marketing optimal structures and terms to clear the market
  • Building and maintaining pricing analyses, comp sets and term sheet comparisons across IG, sub-IG and hybrid instruments to support pricing recommendations
  • Attending all pipeline calls and investment committee meetings to help manage deal flow

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple workstreams simultaneously with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
