Retention Bonus: $2000.00

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains and updates all integrations with other software packages.
  • Manages and tests all version and software updates and upgrades, changes and additions, including user acceptance testing, technical specification familiarization and updating, preparing internal communication and materials for user training.
  • Administers assigned applications and provide technical support to maintenance personnel for planned and corrective maintenance of assets and equipment, including the use of smart field mobile devices (iPhones, tablets, etc.).
  • Implements, configures, and troubleshoots AMSS issues, including work management activities, asset information, data recording, imports from other systems and updates.
  • Monitors and analyzes maintenance and asset management system information and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) when required.
  • Responsible for the software KPIs monitoring and reporting, including the system logs reviews.
  • Troubleshoots sudden issues in the performance and functionality of the application by looking at hardware/software/security/integration alerts while determining sound solutions.
  • Identify, evaluate, analyze, and recommend changes in support of assigned applications, including ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee conversions, application testing and documentation of application procedures. Participates and provides input in training design and development and assists in training execution related to assigned projects. Provides go-live support and serves as primary point of contact for ongoing software production maintenance/support and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborates with customer departments and internal partners to define business requirements, translating requirements into actionable solutions, conduct testing, and finally operationalizing as approved by the requestor.
  • Assesses new technology products and services by performing research, meeting with vendors, consultants, and strategic partners; provides management oversight of software implementation / configuration projects and determines the viability of new products and opportunities.
  • Assists in budget preparation by making recommendations for software, hardware, database system services, and other asset management tools.
  • Validates the AMSS database through field and reports verification.
  • Acts as a back-up for the AMSS User Administrator in a limited capacity.
  • Responds to emails and phone calls received outside of normal business hours as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 5- 7 years' experience in a similar function and organization.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server database, REST protocol using JSON and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS or other GIS tools.
  • Experience in project management and project management methodologies.
  • Experience in software implementation methodologies.
  • Experience with CMMS, CAMS or AMSS and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of maintenance operations and asset-intensive organizations.
  • Valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Preferred:
  • Master's Degree.
  • 10 years' experience in a similar function and organization.
  • Experience using Trimble Unity and Decision Optimization Technology software.
  • Experience in software implementation methodologies.
  • Experience in data management with ArcGIS.
  • Experience with decision optimization tools/software.
