BDO Canada is seeking a highly motivated Alliance Operations & AI Enablement Lead to drive operational excellence and AI-powered transformation across our strategic Microsoft alliance.

This role will own the operational strategy, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement of our Microsoft partnership while championing the use of AI technologies including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and emerging AI productivity tools to modernize alliance operations.

This individual will act as the operational backbone of one of BDO's most strategic alliances, leveraging data, automation, and AI to improve visibility, accelerate execution, enhance reporting, and unlock new levels of efficiency across alliance management, incentive programs, GTM activities, and partner engagement.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working with partner programs, analytics, business processes, automation technologies, and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Alliance Operations Leadership

• Own BDO Digital's Microsoft alliance operations portfolio and serve as the primary subject matter expert across key Microsoft partner programs, tools, processes, incentives, and reporting requirements.

• Manage alliance governance, scorecard tracking, business reviews, operational reporting, and performance measurements aligned to alliance objectives.

• Develop and maintain operational frameworks supporting account mapping, opportunity management, pipeline tracking, incentive execution, and co-sell motions.

• Serve as the primary liaison between BDO, Microsoft stakeholders, and external alliance support resources.

• Collaborate with global BDO peers to share operational best practices, lessons learned, and emerging partner ecosystem opportunities.

AI-Powered Operational Transformation

• Lead the adoption of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform and other AI-enabled technologies to transform alliance operations.

• Identify repetitive, manual, and administrative processes suitable for automation and AI augmentation.

• Design and implement AI-enabled workflows, copilots, agents, dashboards, and automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and data quality.

• Establish best practices for responsible AI adoption within alliance operations and supporting business functions.

• Partner with business leaders to identify new use cases where AI can improve productivity, reporting, insights, and decision making.

• Measure and report on operational efficiency gains, adoption metrics, and business outcomes resulting from AI-enabled transformation initiatives.

Partner Programs, Incentives & Compliance

• Own administration and operational execution of Microsoft Partner Center functions, including referrals, deal registration, co-sell opportunities, partner-led engagements, and alliance reporting.

• Drive Partner Admin Link (PAL), CPOR and other client association programs to maximize alliance performance and incentive attainment.

• Manage reporting and governance for Microsoft investment programs and incentives, including ECIF, MCI, BCIF, AMM and other strategic funding motions.

• Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and operational readiness across all alliance reporting requirements.

• Develop processes and controls that improve alliance visibility, forecasting, and decision making.

Data, Reporting & Business Insight

• Build and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and operational reporting using Power BI and other analytics platforms.

• Leverage AI and analytics to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas across alliance performance.

• Provide actionable insights to alliance leadership that support strategic decision making and investment prioritization.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to alliance operations, reporting, and execution models.

Enablement & Change Leadership

• Enable broader BDO teams with awareness and understanding of available Microsoft programs, incentives, tools, AI capabilities, and operational processes.

• Develop operational playbooks, governance models, training materials, and adoption strategies.

• Support strategic initiatives including GTM planning, executive engagements, account planning, pipeline reviews, customer success storytelling, and alliance growth activities.

• Act as a trusted advisor across BDO and Microsoft for alliance operations, automation, reporting, and AI-enabled business transformation.

Experience & Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

• 5-8+ years of experience in alliance operations, partner management, business operations, program management, project management, or related functions.

• Proven experience driving operational excellence through process improvement, automation, and technology adoption.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities while maintaining high attention to detail.

• Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple teams and leadership levels.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept to execution.

Preferred

• Experience working with Microsoft Partner Center and Microsoft partner programs.

• Familiarity with Microsoft incentives and investment programs including ECIF, MCI, BCIF, AMM, and co-sell motions.

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, AI agents, or automation solutions.

• Experience building dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI.

• Experience working with Dynamics 365, CRM platforms, Workday, or related enterprise business systems.

• Microsoft certifications related to Copilot, AI, Power Platform, Azure, Data & AI, or Business Applications are considered strong assets.

• Experience supporting alliance management, strategic partnerships, or large-scale technology ecosystems is highly desirable.
