SMX is seeking an All-Source Intelligence Analyst for a six-month full-time opportunity to assist in accomplishing/providing Steady-State, Crisis, and Predictive Intelligence coverage of the assigned region or environment. The All-Source Analyst will have a specific focus on the assigned region or environment and periphery countries, facilitating both CONOP development and support for USINDOPACOM, USSOCOM, SOCPAC and interagency planning to develop a full range of Special Operations options.
This position requires a DoD Top Secret with eligibility for TS/SCI which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.This is a 6-month (possible extension) full-time position. Must be able to commit to entire duration.Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Use information derived from all intelligence disciplines to determine changes in enemy capabilities, vulnerabilities, and probable courses of action.
- Research, analyze and develop complex analytical products which provide a robust understanding of the dynamic environment in given operationally focused areas.
- Research and develop critical element and vulnerability analysis and deliver into target intelligence products.
- Conduct research and analysis on a wide variety of topics relating to Contingency Operations in the USINDOPACOM Area of Operations (AOR) utilizing several intelligence software tools to include RMT, TAC, FADE/MIST, Palantir, CIDNE, etc. Ability to learn and apply emerging tools for intelligence analysis and production.
- Uses analytical tools and tradecrafts such as ICREACH, Proton, Analyst Notebook, etc., to understand and develop threat networks throughout the USINDOPACOM AOR.
- Provide intelligence analysis and production relative to an assigned area(s) in political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, technical, or military conditions for one or more foreign countries.
- Maintain liaison with personnel in assigned and related fields, such as those in other intelligence agencies and allied foreign governments, to discuss mutual intelligence problems and production efforts.
- Participates in inter-agency and international meetings and conferences as required.
- Deliver technical insight into intelligence matters relevant to the command and the organizational segment to which are assigned on panels and committees where regional knowledge and experience are judged necessary.
- Provide current intelligence expertise to support operations during steady-state and Crisis.
- Provides intelligence support for OPLAN, CONPLAN and crisis action to include participation in working groups.
- Provides intelligence expertise and support to COMSOCPAC, SOCPAC Staff, and Component Commands through the various intelligence products, briefings, and forums to include INTSUMs, CUB, Daily Read book, O&I, Information Papers, Current Threat Briefs, and other as required.
- Work in tandem with other branches in the Joint Intelligence Control Element (JISE, USINDOPACOM (JIOC, Red Team, Strategic Focus Group) and USSOCOM to de-conflict intelligence collection, production, and federation of intelligence support.
- Prepare intelligence products for weekly intelligence administrative and operational synchronization meetings.
- Provide intelligence inputs to target discovery and development in support of MICON, CONOPs.
- Provide intelligence support to COMSOCPAC RFIs.
- Provide intelligence support to refine COMSOCPAC PIRs and EEIs for campaigning, crisis, and conflict.
- Provide Special Operations Force focused TIP in support of MICON and CONOP development.
- Prepare intelligence updates for COMSOCPAC's trip book for KLE visit.
- Develop Targeted Country intelligence estimate; provide a timely and accurate evaluation of the enemy and the AO.
- Prepare intelligence briefs in support of the Commander's Read Book, or the CUB as required.
- Prepare and analyze current intelligence holdings to identify gaps, and subsequent intelligence collection requirements.
- Assists in integrating incoming information with current intelligence holdings and prepares and maintains the current intelligence picture.
- Develop Population demographics (ethnic groups, religious sects, age distribution, health status, income groups).
- Develop Political or socio-economic factors, including factions, clans, and gangs.
- Develop Infrastructures, such as transportation or telecommunications, and critical decision-making infrastructures and supporting information systems.
- Become the subject matter expert in assigned countries.
- CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
Required Skills & Experience - TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's (BS/BA) degree in any field, and/or
- Eight (8) years of experience (within the last 10 years) in threat, indications and warning, collection, analysis, and production and collaborating with other senior intelligence analysts.
- Eight (8) years' intelligence staff experience, tactical through operational/COCOM
- Three (3) years of experience with analysis, reporting and briefing within USINDOPACOM/INDO- PAC AOR Intelligence Enterprise, the U.S. Intelligence Community, and the Interagency
- Three (3) years of experience in DoD & Interagency Intelligence programs, asymmetric analysis, PACOM/JCS training events, and PACOM country(s) familiarization
- Three (3) years of experience using theater and national level intelligence automated information, intelligence, and communication systems, tools, databases, and programs.
- Three (3) years of experience in assigned region or domain (e.g., South Asia, Northeast Asia, etc. al)
- Must have a valid US Passport

$89,000-$148,500 USD
