Air Freight Bid Pricing Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of pricing analysts through the development of competitive, profitable customer pricing solutions. The Bid Manager will play a critical role in supporting revenue growth by improving pricing strategy, increasing bid win rates, strengthening governance, and ensuring scalable support for growing customer opportunities across the US.
Key Responsibilities :- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Air Freight Pricing Analysts, managing performance, workload prioritization, and achievement of key performance indicators.
- Drive profitable revenue and volume growth through the development of competitive pricing strategies for RFQs, and strategic customer opportunities.
- Govern pricing responses for global, regional, and country-led bid opportunities, ensuring high-quality submissions, pricing consistency, and alignment with commercial objectives.
- Lead pricing reviews for strategic opportunities, ensuring appropriate risk assessment, margin optimization, and compliance with pricing governance standards.
- Champion process improvements, automation opportunities, and pricing tool enhancements to increase efficiency, scalability, and pricing accuracy.
Skills / Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience, typically including at least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of international air freight markets, carrier networks, trade lanes, and forwarding operations.
- Advanced analytical and financial acumen with demonstrated success using data to improve win rates, profitability, and commercial decision-making.
- Proficiency with pricing, quoting, and freight forwarding systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions across Sales, Operations, Product, and senior leadership teams.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range: $93,142.50 - $124,190.00+ (Based on Experience)
