Role Summary
We are looking for a practical, business-minded AI Workflow Transformation Manager to help modernize how our Sales and Applications teams work. This person will identify repetitive daily tasks, map current workflows, and convert them into AI-enabled processes using emerging tools for automation, knowledge retrieval, customer support, quoting support, reporting, and internal productivity. This is not a pure IT role. It requires someone who can understand commercial and technical sales processes, work directly with users, and turn messy real world activity into scalable AI workflows.
Responsibilities:- Analyze existing daily tasks across Sales and Applications teams and identify opportunities for AI-enabled improvement.
- Document current workflows, pain points, manual steps, handoffs, and data sources.
- Design, test, and deploy AI workflows that improve speed, accuracy, consistency, and productivity.
- Partner with sales, applications engineering, product management, IT, and operations to prioritize high-impact use cases.
- Build practical AI solutions for tasks such as customer research, meeting preparation, quote support, technical response drafting, CRM updates, reporting, forecasting support, and knowledge management.
- Train users on new AI tools and workflows, driving adoption across the organization.
- Measure workflow effectiveness through time savings, error reduction, user adoption, and business impact.
- Stay current on new AI tools and recommend where they can be applied responsibly.
- Ensure AI workflows follow company standards for data security, confidentiality, and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:- BS Degree in Marketing, Business or related area, MBA preferred
- Experience in sales operations, applications engineering, business process improvement, digital transformation, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales workflows, customer-facing processes, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, workflow automation platforms, CRM tools, or similar technologies.
- Ability to map processes clearly and identify where automation or AI can create measurable value.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and commercial teams.
- Comfortable training users and driving adoption of new ways of working.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in manufacturing, electronics, interconnect, technology, or engineered products.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, ERP systems, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Experience with prompt design, AI agents, knowledge bases, or low-code/no-code automation.
- Background working with global teams.
The base salary range for this position is $68,320 - $120,000 annually. In determining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role.
