As part of the Topicality AI team, you will work end to end across the content recommendation lifecycle:

• Understand and model content quality with agentic LLMs guided by human feedback
• Match content to members by revolutionizing retrieval and ranking systems with state-of-the-art generative models
• Decide where and when content appears across LinkedIn's Feed and surfaces to maximize member value

You'll see your work ship quickly, receive real-time member feedback, and do research that directly influences how millions of people's Feed experiences are shaped every day.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or related practical technical experience
• 5+ years of related industry experience in Machine Learning, development, and algorithm related solutions
• 1+ year(s) of management experience leading a AI/ML engineering team, or 1+ year(s) of Staff level AI/ML engineering experience with management training
• Hands on experience in data modeling and machine learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or related fields
• 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering management and people management
• Experience driving impact with Generative AI products and Search and Recommendation systems
• 7+ years of hands on experience in data modeling and machine learning

Compensation:

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $170,000 - $277,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
