Job DescriptionIn this position...The AI Technical Project Manager brings hands-on expertise in project and program management methodologies within data science, machine learning, and generative AI. This role collaborates cross-functionally to develop and execute roadmaps and initiatives, requiring strong technical knowledge across analytics, machine learning, and generative AI.
This role contributes expertise in project and program management methodologies specific to data science, machine learning, and generative AI projects, providing support and guidance to technical and non-technical stakeholders. It jointly develops roadmaps and project plans with the Director of Forward Deploy Engineers, Director of AI Hub, Sr AI Technical Program, and Product, Technology, and Business leaders. The role monitors project progress, analyzes performance, and delivers insights to executive leadership while staying updated on emerging trends. In addition to strategic program management, this role involves coordinating project execution activities, including facilitating committees, building executive presentations, running working teams, and managing tactical tasks to ensure successful project delivery.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do...- Partners with the Director of Forward Deploy Engineers, Director of AI Hub, and Sr AI Technical Program Manager to build project plans-defining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations using industry benchmarks and best practices
- Supports AI organization operations and helps build a positive culture through internal and external events, collaborating with L&D and other functions as needed
- Defines KPIs for AI success across the organization, sources necessary data, and partners with data analysts to measure initiative impact
- Facilitates and manages committee operations, keeping them as lean as possible while still meeting charter goals
- Runs daily standups for AI working groups where needed, working closely with technical leads to identify and remove impediments to progress
- Maintains organizational communication through up-to-date file management, team communication channels, and SharePoint resources
- Provides technical leadership and expert guidance on project/program management methodologies, best practices, and tools
- Offers strategic guidance and decision-making support to project teams, addressing complex issues, mitigating risks, and optimizing outcomes
- Tracks key metrics and KPIs to monitor project health and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and performance targets
- Delivers insightful analysis and reporting on project performance, presenting findings and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Stays current on innovation, continuous improvement methodologies, industry trends, and emerging technologies in project management

This position is a banded salary grade 6 to 8 and ranges from $85,400-$192,900.Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
