The RoleThis is a strategic role responsible for the messaging, technical storytelling, content, go-to-market orchestration, launch frameworks, and sales enablement of the PlayerZero platform.
This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. You will help translate complex technical capabilities into compelling stories that resonate with engineering leaders, platform teams, and enterprise buyers.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing technical concepts with PlayerZero engineers, and articulating them to prospects, and creating hands-on enablement assets that support revenue growth.
What You'll Do:Positioning & Messaging
- Partner with Marketing and Product leadership to develop and evolve PlayerZero's product positioning, messaging, and content.
- Translate complex AI and engineering concepts into clear, differentiated customer-facing narratives.
- Create messaging tailored to technical practitioners, engineering leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency across marketing, sales, and customer-facing materials.
- Product Launches & Go-to-Market
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product releases and platform capabilities.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand roadmap priorities and customer impact.
- Coordinate cross-functional launch activities across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership.
- Measure launch effectiveness and adoption.
Sales Enablement
- Build and maintain battlecards, solution briefs, pitch decks, one-pagers, and competitive intelligence resources.
- Equip Sales and Field Engineering teams with messaging and content that improve sales effectiveness.
- Support enterprise opportunities through tailored positioning and market insights.
- Partner with GTM leadership to identify and address enablement gaps.
- Customer & Market Insights
- Conduct customer interviews and gather voice-of-customer insights.
- Develop customer stories, case studies, and reference materials.
- Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Provide market intelligence that informs product and go-to-market strategy.
Content & Thought Leadership
- Partner with Marketing leadership to develop content that supports awareness, education, and pipeline generation.
- Contribute to technical and executive-facing content initiatives.
- Help establish PlayerZero as a category leader within AI-powered Production Engineering.
What We're Looking For:Required
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Solutions Engineering, Technical Marketing, or related roles.
- Experience supporting B2B SaaS products.
- Demonstrated success owning product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
- Self-starter comfortable operating in fast-paced startup environments.
Preferred
- Experience in DevOps, Observability, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, AI/ML, Data Platforms, Developer Tools, Security, or related technical domains.
- Ability to create compelling product demos
- Startup experience within Series A, Series B, or high-growth environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales motions.
- Technical background or demonstrated ability to work effectively with engineering teams.
Success in the First 12 Months:- Establish clear and differentiated platform messaging.
- Improve sales enablement resources and adoption across the GTM organization.
- Successfully launch new platform capabilities and product initiatives.
- Build a scalable customer evidence program including case studies and reference customers.
- Strengthen PlayerZero's market presence and competitive positioning within the AI and software engineering ecosystem.
