We are looking for an AI Product Manager to work shoulder to shoulder with our best-in-class AI hub engineering team and our most future-facing clients to build the next generation of AI agents for the accounting close. You'll blend accounting expertise with a passion for technology, Success is measured by driving product adoption through thoughtful, accurate product delivery and responding directly to each customers' needs while simultaneously providing education and enablement.

We will provide the product management training; you bring the deep subject matter expertise that is critical for our success. You will not just be managing a product; you will be an integral part of an engineering and GTM team, using your accounting knowledge to build the future of the profession.

You'll Get To:

  • Roles and Responsibility (list in order of importance)
    • Product Discovery & Client Partnership: Act as the primary product expert for our AI agents, guiding clients from initial design partnership through to successful adoption. You will embed with client accounting teams to deeply understand their workflows, gather direct feedback, and translate their needs into actionable product requirements for the engineering team
    • Collaboration: Partner directly with engineering, but also with design, marketing, and sales teams, to ensure seamless product iteration and market fit based on client feedback
    • Compliance: Monitor the performance of, and ensure that the quality of product outputs adhere to accounting standards by executing and improving on QA testing processes
    • Process Architecture: Maintain rigorous documentation of standard operating procedures, performance analytics, and quality assurance frameworks to ensure consistent execution and knowledge transfer across all involved teams

What You'll Bring:

  • Years of Experience in Related Field: Experience: 3+ years in corporate accounting executing across month-end close tasks (like booking accruals, amortizing prepaid schedules, reconciling cash ledgers, etc.)

    Education: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred)

    Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Technical skills: Deep familiarity across ERP platforms like SAP, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct. Deep familiarity with the month end close process for a corporate accounting team
    • Project management: Clear, concise communicator with strong organizational hygiene to structure and manage multiple concurrent deliverables
    • Communication: Ability to translate technical accounting concepts to non-accounting stakeholders
    • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, in-person-first environment

Salary Range:

USD $133,000.00/Yr. - USD $167,000.00/Yr.

Pay Transparency Statement:

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
