Position SummaryThe AI Integration Engineer will design, build, test, and operate reusable integrations between Tachyon and approved enterprise engineering services. This hands-on role enables governed tool access and streamlined engineering workflows through APIs, webhooks, MCP, CI/CD automation, security controls, observability, and reusable connector patterns.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain reusable integrations between Tachyon and enterprise services for documentation, design collaboration, work management, reporting, security scanning, testing, delivery, and observability.
- Develop governed MCP-enabled tools and local workflows that provide secure, approved access to enterprise engineering capabilities.
- Build API, webhook, event-driven, and SDK-based integration patterns that are reusable across teams and use cases.
- Integrate security and software-composition scanning into development and delivery workflows.
- Implement automated functional, integration, performance, and regression testing for integration services and workflows.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, code quality controls, release automation, versioning, and production deployment practices.
- Implement authentication, authorization, secrets handling, audit logging, and access controls in line with enterprise security requirements.
- Build telemetry, dashboards, alerts, and runbooks to support operational visibility and troubleshooting.
- Partner with platform engineering, security, developer experience, product, and enterprise-tool owners to define integration requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Produce integration documentation, reference implementations, onboarding guides, and reusable templates to enable self-service adoption.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of software, platform, or integration engineering experience.
- 5+ years strong hands-on Python development experience.
- Experience building REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, connectors, or enterprise integration services.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and production support practices.
- Working knowledge of MCP and governed AI tool-integration patterns.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, secure API design, secrets management, logging, and auditability.
- Experience integrating or operating security scanning, test automation, performance testing, observability, or Agile engineering toolchains.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Required Skills / Knowledge- Python, REST APIs, webhooks, event-driven integration, and enterprise integration patterns.
- MCP, tool schemas, governed tool access, and local MCP-enabled workflows.
- CI/CD, automated testing, release automation, and software delivery practices.
- Security and software-composition scanning, vulnerability reporting, and remediation workflow integration.

- Observability, telemetry, dashboards, alerting, logging, and production troubleshooting.
- Authentication, authorization, secrets management, API security, and auditability.
- Documentation, reporting, Agile work management, and developer productivity toolchains.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with enterprise AI platforms, developer platforms, internal engineering portals, or shared-services platforms.
- Experience with cloud-native applications, Kubernetes, and containerized integration services.
- Experience in regulated enterprise environments.
- Experience designing reusable connector frameworks or integration marketplaces.

#LI-NorthAmericaNTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $96,800.00 - $145,200.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
