Responsibilities
We're looking for an experienced communications professional to join our AI + Innovation Communications team. In this role, you'll help build trust in how AI tools can empower human creativity, partner cross-functionally to help mitigate AI-related reputational risks, and manage proactive and reactive media engagement and speaking opportunities. You should have a strong understanding of the AI and/or professional content creation landscapes, be able to translate complex technical topics into clear narratives, and be comfortable working independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across timezones. You'll join a team that helps shape public understanding of how we use technologies like AI to inspire creativity, enable discovery, and keep people safe, through proactive communications and strategic counsel to cross-functional teams including product, legal, public policy and more. Responsibilities: - Help develop and evolve our AI narrative through messaging documents, newsroom posts, statements, Q&As, and spokesperson materials. - Support the development of global communications campaigns that highlight the positive ways AI is supporting creators of all kinds. - Drive proactive speaking and events strategies, including identifying opportunities prepping spokespeople, and drafting materials - Pitch AI creativity stories to media proactively and handle reactive media inquiries. - Provide strategic counsel to product teams working on AI-related projects still in development. - Identify emerging areas of reputational risk and proactively shape strategies and messaging to address them.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years experience in communications, with direct experience engaging with journalists, prepping spokespeople, and staffing tier one events - Strong track record of translating complex or technical concepts into compelling narratives for both expert and non-expert audiences - Experience working with product, legal, and public policy teams to create impactful campaigns and minimize risk - Experience staffing tier one events - Strong analytical judgment, with the ability to assess reputational risk and advise accordingly - Thrives in fast-paced environments, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with, and telling stories about, creators or clients - Strong familiarity with AI and/or the entertainment and content creation landscapes

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $121600 - $220400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
