Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Establishing and operating KLA’s AI governance framework across all approved AI platforms, models, agents, and automation capabilities
- Focusing on responsible AI adoption, policy enforcement, risk management, compliance, platform guardrails, AI inventory, approval workflows, and executive visibility
- Ensuring AI is deployed safely, transparently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with business, legal, security, privacy, and regulatory expectations
- Developing policies, standards, intake processes, risk frameworks, approval models, executive dashboards, and governance operating models
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive IT, governance, risk, compliance, security, data, or AI program leadership experience
- Five (5) years leading cross-functional governance, compliance, risk management, technology oversight, or enterprise transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of generative AI, machine learning, agentic AI, AI platforms, AI lifecycle management, model governance, data governance, privacy, and security concepts
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex AI governance concepts into clear business decisions
Base Pay Range: $133,300.00 - $226,600.00 Annually
Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA
