Responsibilities- Leads the design and optimization of AI/ML models, ensuring alignment with business needs and scalability requirements
- Develops, deploys, and refines AI-driven solutions, integrating generative AI and NLP models as needed
- Designs and maintains efficient AI data processing frameworks, enabling seamless model deployment
- Oversees model governance, ensuring compliance with security and enterprise AI policies
- Researches and experiments with new AI techniques to enhance model accuracy, efficiency, and interpretability
- Guides AI implementation strategies, working closely with engineers, data scientists, and business teams
- Drives best practices for AI model deployment, automation, and machine learning operations (MLOps)
- Collaborates effectively with teams in product and the business to align technology initiatives with business objectives
- Impacts single project, extending collaboration with multiple teams and impacting broader project functionalities
- Designs and builds end-to-end production AI systems, integrating machine learning models, LLMs, and supporting services into scalable applications
- Develops AI capabilities including training pipelines, inference services, retrieval architectures, and evaluation frameworks
- Ensures AI systems meet enterprise standards for reliability, explainability, observability, and regulatory compliance, proactively identifying improvements
Qualifications- Experience in software development with a focus on machine learning, generative AI, Big Data, and prompt engineering
- Experience in working with large language models (LLMs), especially GPT-3.5/4 or similar AI models
- Experience in languages such as Python or R
- Experience in deploying AI models and pipelines using machine leanring operations tools
- Experience in machine learning algorithms and experience applying them to real-world problems
- Experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and containerized deployments
- Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and extract, transform, and load processes
- Experience delivering end-to-end AI systems in production, including design and operational ownership
- Experience with distributed systems design, scalable APIs, and cloud-native AI infrastructure, including monitoring and optimization
- Advanced expertise in a technical domain and moderate expertise in a new, different technical domain
