Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring an AI Automation Program Manager with an active Secret clearance to lead enterprise-wide AI, automation, and digitaltransformation programs. This role aligns business objectives with technology strategy, governance, and delivery execution. The program manager oversees crossfunctional teams to implement AI-enabled solutions that increase productivity, reduce manual work, and modernize business processes. This position is in Arlington, VA and will be hybrid remote and onsite.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead AI/automation strategy, roadmap development, and execution across enterprise programs.
  • Identify opportunities to implement AI, ML, RPA, workflow automation, and generative AI platforms.
  • Manage automation projects endtoend, including requirements, schedules, risks, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate work across data scientists, engineers, cybersecurity teams, cloud teams, and business leaders.
  • Establish governance frameworks for AI practices, model risk management, and enterprise adoption.
  • Develop KPIs measuring productivity gains, cost savings, automation effectiveness, and user adoption.
  • Oversee changemanagement plans, communications, and training.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships and stay current with emerging technology trends.
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree with 12+ yrs technology program management (or commesurate experience)
  • Experience leading enterprise automation or AI modernization programs.
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including implementation and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise with generative AI platforms and integration of large language models (LLMs).
  • Experience with automation platforms such as ServiceNow, Power Automate, and UiPath.
  • Proficient in Agile and Scrum program delivery methods.
  • Knowledge of data governance and AI risk management practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud AI services, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with portfolio and program management tools.
  • Ability to optimize business processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Certifications:

  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP
  • SAFe Agilist
  • AI/ML or Cloud certifications preferred

Clearance Required: Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to attain DEA suitability.

Posted Salary RangeUSD $220,000.00 - USD $240,000.00 /Yr.
