A Snapshot of Your Day AGT (Aeroderivative Gas Turbine) Power Turbine team is a design team responsible for complete 'cradle to grave' ownership of power turbines coupled with Aeroderivative Gas Generators. As an AGT Power Turbine Engineer, you will contribute to the area of aerothermals and heat transfer in the hot section of rotating machinery. The hired individual will have opportunities to develop into a holistic Power Turbine engineer while leading complex turbine design work with support from a team of individuals with different skills across varying disciplines and across multiple locations/countries.
How You'll Make an Impact - Candidate will complete aerothermal and heat transfer assessments of Turbine Components and Assemblies with focus on computational fluid dynamics.
- Provide In Service Support, Manufacturing Support and Procurement Support.
- Candidate will support the development, testing and validation of new Power Turbine designs coupled to an Aeroderivative Gas Generator.
What You Bring - Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field.
- Two years of experience working in the area of turbomachinery analysis will be preferred.
- Understanding of CFD and Aerothermal methods as applicable to gas turbines.
- Experience in using CAD tools is highly desirable.
