Job Summary

At KBR, we are seeking an experienced Test & Evaluation Engineer supporting the Tactical Aviation & Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office in Huntsville, AL. The Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer supports the Air-to-Ground Missile Systems (AGMS) Program Office by planning, executing, and analyzing developmental and operational test activities for air-launched precision-guided missiles and associated subsystems. This role ensures that missile capabilities, performance requirements, and system interfaces are thoroughly verified and validated across the full acquisition lifecycle. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive T&E strategies, test plans, test procedures, and data-collection methodologies in accordance with DoD and Army test policy.
  • Coordinate developmental flight tests, ground tests, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) events, and system integration testing for AGMS missile systems.
  • Lead data analysis, performance assessment, and reporting activities to evaluate weapon accuracy, lethality, guidance performance, environmental durability, and platform integration.
  • Collaborate with test centers, range personnel, platform program offices, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient, and technically sound execution of test events.
  • Support verification of system requirements, risk reduction activities, and readiness assessments for test milestones and program reviews.
  • Contribute to failure investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, briefings, and documentation for leadership, stakeholders, and test review boards.
  • Maintain strong understanding of AGMS missile architecture, system interfaces, and mission employment to inform effective test design.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of related technical experience
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems engineering or related technical field.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance
  • Previous experience with missile system Test & Evaluation (T&E)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Solid foundation in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience supporting AGMS flight tests, ground tests, or system-level verification activities.
  • Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and using engineering tools (MATLAB, Python, telemetry visualization tools, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Army test ranges, developmental/operational test processes, and DoD T&E acquisition frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional engineering, test, and program management teams.
  • Understanding of missile guidance, propulsion, warhead, and platform-integration fundamentals is preferred.
