Agile Business Analyst, Senior
The Opportunity:

As a Senior Agile Business Analyst on our team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the requirements activities for the team. You will develop team goals and monitor and evaluate team progress. You'll lead and facilitate requirements elicitation meetings with clients and other stakeholders. You'll identify client's business and system requirements and translate or decompose those needs into actionable software requirements, test criteria, and scenarios. You'll leverage your expertise in domains, stakeholder relationships, and advanced capabilities to achieve goals, and apply expertise in the wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. You'll provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems and ensure those solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Work under only general direction, and determine and develop approaches to solutions independently. You'll also contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with technology
  • 3+ years of experience as a requirements analyst
  • Experience leading teams and client engagements
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira, and Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Scrum, XP, Lean, DevOps, and SAFe
  • Experience distilling complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with thorough acceptance criteria
  • Experience identifying and assessing customer needs, performing requirements gathering, and analyzing data to determine solutions for issues
  • Experience presenting recommendations to product owners based on findings
  • Experience conducting current-state and target-state analysis and design for software applications
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience working with federal and DoD organizations, including the Air Force and Space Force
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, to successfully interact with clients

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
