MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Agentic AI Application Developer to join our team. This is a full-time remote opportunity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Develop and deploy Agentic AI and Human-AI Teaming capabilities to support the AFCEC Cost Estimation PoC
- Design and build AI systems capable of reasoning, planning, and executing complex, multi-step tasks with minimal human intervention
- Integrate AI models with real-world tools, external APIs, and sophisticated feedback loops
- Transform manual, high-variability workflows into highly efficient, predictive, agent-driven capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate secure AI solutions and reshape workflow efficiency
- Write, test, and maintain code for AI agents, ensuring high performance and reliability in a remote environment
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or experience
- 0+ years of entry-level experience
- Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or software engineering principles
- Experience with programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python
- Familiarity with integrating APIs and working with external data sources
- Understanding of prompt engineering and basic interactions with Large Language Models
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or experience
- 2+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience building or working with AI agents, chatbots, or autonomous systems
- Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or OpenAI APIs
- Experience with cloud platforms and deploying AI applications
- Experience with secure AI development practices and human-in-the-loop architectures
Clearance Requirements:- US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret.
Physical Requirements:- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The projected compensation range for this position is $63,500.00-$105,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
