- Review test cell and field data and ensure no issues with Aftertreatment or performance shift.
- Ensure all cell hardware is accounted for, current and future programs. Make sure they are tracked properly electronically to accumulate hours.
- Troubleshoot and fix aftertreatment related issues/codes in test cell, especially during install
- Print releasing, knowledge and working with CAD based program and print reading.
- Component design (aftertreatment canning, injectors DEF pumps)
- Working with a purchasing team for quotes and proto-type part procurement
- FMEA analysis and validation planning and testing
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Analysis of aftertreatment capability and sizing trade-offs. Design of catalyst canning and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) system components. This individual will be a point of contact for aftertreatment test instruction, project plan status, results, and next steps.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:- Years of experience: 2-5 years
- Degree requirement: Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or related curriculum
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:- Test or Design Experience
- 3D CAD program experience
- Proficiency in DatK and Canape
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience with engine and/or aftertreatment performance data reduction and analysis.
- Strong understanding of engine and aftertreatment systems.
- Ability to draw conclusions from analysis and make decisions
