JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:- Software developer supporting SATS maintenance and Command for Dozing (remote control) Cadence. Large Track Type Tractors (LTTT)
- Responsible for coding C++ at application level to get RC/Autonomy system to function as desired on Dozers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Serve as the lead software expert, providing technical direction and architectural guidance.
- Collaborate closely with the Technology Project Manager (TPM), who oversees overall project execution and budget.
- Partner with Software Developers and Systems Engineers to deliver releases, resolve issues, and ensure system reliability.
- Drive the design and integration of autonomy solutions into current and future models.
- Ensure scalability, maintainability, and compliance with organizational standards.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:- Years of experience: 4+ years' experience required
- Degree requirement: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:- C++ demonstrated experience, automation, robotics
- Unit testing, SIL testing, Canape or CANanlyzer (preferred)
- Ethernet tools (wireshark)
DESIRED SKILLS:- Familiar with construction equipment
- Robotics or automation experience
