About This Role

Working closely with Production, Shipping and Customer Service teams, this role is responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring that all materials and resources are available to meet production & on-time shipping goals.

Job Description
  • Capture & maintain demand requirements from multiple sources to ensure full coverage of all aftermarket, engineering & intercompany requirements
  • Maintain accurate production schedules ensuring alignment with plant capacity, available materials and on-time delivery goals
  • Coordinate and manage the flow of materials from staging warehouses to production facilities (ensure production schedules are "Clear-to-Build")
  • Identify root cause of material shortages and escalate appropriately
  • Maintain lead-times for all replacement components ensuring alignment between Charlotte plant and Replacement Components warehouse
  • Track appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement including On-Time Delivery and Production/Shipping attainment
  • Maintain Continuous communication on production status & transfer/sales order availability dates to relevant stakeholders in planning & customer service
  • Promptly address order expedite requests ensuring clarity on resolution date of bottleneck materials and/or resources
  • Work closely with plant shipping department to troubleshoot issues impacting timely execution of order fulfillment
  • Develop & maintain standard process documentation for all facets of role

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in planning or supply chain management
  • 5+ years of experience working with an ERP system (i.e. SAP)

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business
  • Organized, proactive, detail-oriented & able to work under pressure
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in SAP ECC & Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel)
  • English communication (written and verbal)
  • Interpersonal skills


Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
