Role Overview
We are seeking experienced AEM Template Developers with strong hands on experience in AEM Forms 6.5 LTS and AEM Forms Designer, formerly known as Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience creating and maintaining complex XDP form templates for print, web, and correspondence channels. The candidate will work on a large scale, multi phased migration effort and should be comfortable working at a fast pace while maintaining quality, documentation, standards, and guidelines.
Required Skills
• Strong experience with AEM Forms 6.5 LTS
• Strong experience with AEM Forms Designer or Adobe LiveCycle Designer
• Strong experience creating and maintaining complex XDP form templates
• Experience designing XDP layouts using subforms, target areas, tables, layout fragments, and dynamic images
• Experience mapping XDP templates with XML Schema (XSD), Form Data Models (FDM), and JSON datasets
• Experience enabling dynamic data prefill and secure form submission
• Strong experience with Java
• Strong experience with JavaScript
• Strong experience with HTML5
• Experience with OSGi
• Experience with Apache Sling
• Experience with JCR
• Experience with Form Data Model (FDM)
• Experience with XML, XSD, XFA, JSON, and Document Fragments
• Experience with Maven

• Strong understanding of AEM Forms template development and migration activities

• Experience coaching or mentoring team members on AEM template development
Key Responsibilities
• Create and maintain complex XDP form templates using AEM Forms Designer
• Develop XDP templates for print, web, and correspondence channels
• Structure XDP layouts using subforms, target areas, tables, layout fragments, and dynamic images
• Map XDP templates with XML Schema, Form Data Models, and JSON datasets
• Enable dynamic data prefill and secure form submission
• Develop AEM templates at a fast pace to support a large scale migration effort
• Support the multi phased migration effort and ensure timely delivery of assigned templates
• Develop and maintain reusable form components and document fragments
• Perform template development using AEM Forms 6.5 LTS and associated technologies
• Support batch monitoring and pager activities as required
• Monitor batch scheduling activities and help troubleshoot related issues
• Collaborate with development and project teams to resolve template and migration issues
• Coach and support team members in AEM template development activities as needed
• Follow established development standards, guidelines, and best practices
• Maintain source code and development artifacts using Git
• Support build and development activities using Maven and Eclipse
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and validation of AEM Forms templates
• Maintain comprehensive development and technical documentation
• Contribute to the revision and improvement of development standards and guidelines
Education Requirement
• Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
