Job Summary:

An Associate in our Forensic Technology practice, begins to utilize their educational background as well as their organizational skills as they serve the firm's dynamic client base. An Associate's responsibilities include problem solving, consulting, and fact-finding on active cases as well as internal practice initiatives (e.g. recruiting, business development, and service offering innovation). This role has the opportunity to gain an understanding of the business by working on various stages of a forensic consulting engagement across issues like bribery and corruption, fraud, money laundering, disputes, litigation, corporate compliance, and data breach response. On these engagements, the associate works side-by-side with more experienced team members who can provide direction, coaching, and learning opportunities. s.

Job Duties:
• Provides data analytics services to a variety of clients, including outside counsel, regulators, and companies involved in litigation, investigation, dispute, regulatory, and compliance matters
• Contributes to forensic engagements related to fraud, anti-money laundering, insurance risks, foreign corrupt practices act (FCPA), disputes, and other matters
• Develops working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicates effectively
• Supports ETL processes by forensically extracting, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data for in-depth data analytics for big datasets
• Performs analyses and takes ownership of assigned workstreams from data gathering through documentation and deliveryPrepares high-quality, accurate client deliverables and insights
• Acts with professionalism and integrity when working with confidential and sensitive information
• Maintains a proactive and logical approach to information gathering, identifying potential issues and anamolies while presenting complex information clearly and effectively
• Identifies and researches new trends and tools and understands the data analytics marketplace while working on client engagements
• Develops expertise in technical programs (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python)
• Assists with developing documents, procedures, and solutions on non-billable practice development initiatives
• Works on international projects with potential domestic and/or international travel
• Audits own work product as well as other team members' work to ensure quality
• Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:
• Bachelor's degree, required; focus in Accounting, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Information Systems, preferred

Experience:
• Leadership experience, preferred

License/Certification:
• N/A

Software:
• Understanding of relational databases, preferably SQL Server
• Experience with Python, R, and/or other programming languages or tools, preferred
• Experience with querying structured and unstructured data, cleaning and profiling datasets, building repeatable analytics, and visualizing results, preferred
• Experience with data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI), preferred
• Familiarity with agentic AI tools and AI-driven workflow automation, preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, preferred

Languages:
• Fluent in one (1) or more languages other than English, preferred

• Ability to work with a high degree of professionalism and autonomy
• Demonstrated curiosity and coachability, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in technical programs

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range: $85,000 - $90,000
Colorado Range: $73,000 - $77,000
Illinois Range: $78,000 - $87,000
Maryland Range: $83,000 - $87,000
Massachusetts Range: $83,000 - $87,000
Minnesota Range: $70,000 - $74,000
New Jersey Range: $78,000 - $82,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $83,000 - $87,000
Virginia Range: $78,000 - $82,000
Washington Range: $68,000 - $78,000
Washington DC Range: $83,000 - $87,000
