Job Overview The People Consultant (formerly HR Business Partner) serves as a strategic and operational partner to designated business areas. This role provides expert consultation on People policies, organizational design, talent development, and associate relations. The People Consultant will coach leaders, mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and drive initiatives that support the Company's position as an employer of choice Key Responsibilities: • Advise leaders on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, coaching, policy interpretation, and disciplinary actions • Assess workforce, business, and organizational trends and translate insights into workforce strategies, organizational plans, and leadership actions to support current and future business needs. Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning strategy, including headcount forecasting, staffing plans, succession considerations, and workforce capability assessments • Conduct investigations into sexual harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment, and workplace violence claims • Coordinate employment-related legal actions and partner with Corporate Security, Business Practies Office, and Legal as needed • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, ISO standards, corporate audits, and internal People policies • Provide guidance to leaders on organizational structure, job banding, headcount planning, and job description development • Lead PT consultation activities associated with organizational change management initiatives, including communications and transition planning • Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and support audits and compliance reviews related to People programs and processes • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions related to People policies, programs, and processes • Advise leaders on talent strategy, including succession planning, leadership pipeline development, talent assessment, retention planning, and organizational capability building to support future business growth • Act as trusted advisor to managers and employees and partner with People colleagues to align and execute on People and corporate initiatives • Partner with the business, People Solutions Center (PSC), and Global Functional Teams (GFT) to align people strategies, advocate for business needs, and support effective implementation of standardized People processes and services • Serve as a strategic organizational consultant along with talent advisor to business leaders by translating workforce, business, and organizational trends into actionable strategies • Provide guidance on employee relations, organizational design, workforce planning, change management, and talent development, and consulting on the effective use of People policies, programs, processes, and solutions to support business objectives and organizational effectiveness Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, Communications, or related field 5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including: • HR Business Partnering • Employee Relations • Organizational Development or Learning & Development • HR operations and Compliance • Strong knowledge of Human Resources principles across Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Talent Management, and HRIS • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust quickly • Ability to navigate complex organizations, influence leaders, and manage multiple priorities PREFERRED • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP • Master's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management or Business Administration ADDITIONAL INFORMATION • Flexible hours, domestic/international travel, onsite presence as needed
