Full Job Description
Advisor III, Data Analytics! Join a dynamic team where you'll bridge analytics, business operations, and system solutions to drive commercial success. You'll collaborate across commercial, support, and IT functions, translating business needs into actionable insights and system enhancements. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment where your analytical expertise, decision-making, and accountability will directly impact business outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze organizational reporting requirements and translate them into actionable reporting, KPI tracking, and dashboard standards.
  • Develop and implement process and analytic solutions to support new or changing business needs.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to identify key trends, themes, and insights that inform business improvements and decisions.
  • Collaborate with commercial front office, finance, support groups, and IT to design and implement system solutions.
  • Create and maintain reusable datasets, data products, and reporting tools. Create, maintain, and optimize system-specific data and reporting tools.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects, driving best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver training on new systems and processes.
  • Proactively share knowledge and provide specialist advice on data, analytics, and supported technologies and solutions.
  • Occasionally work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.


What You'll Bring - Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 or more years of experience in analytics, commercial operations, or commercial support functions
  • Intermediate proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools; experience with Power BI or similar platforms
  • Intermediate proficiency with SAP S/4 HANA and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Highly proficient in downstream industry systems and advanced knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA data and functionalities
  • Demonstrated experience as a technical subject matter expert, leading cross-functional projects
  • Strong business knowledge of commercial operations and the downstream energy value chain
  • Experience with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence or another process-mining tool
  • Familiarity with generative AI, machine-learning concepts, AI agents, prompt design, or the practical application of AI to business processes
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for continuous improvement and driving operational excellence
  • Proven ability to manage complexity, make sound decisions, and ensure accountability in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


Compensation Range

This position has a base salary range of $125,100 - $152,900.
